An employee of the Pfister Hotel is suspected of stealing thousands of dollars worth of jewelry from a professional baseball player's wife.

Chicago Cubs pitcher Matt Clement reported that while he and his wife stayed at the hotel on July 5, $15,000 worth of jewelry disappeared.

The suspect allegedly gave it all to his girlfriend, according to reports. Police say they have recovered everything and have arrested the suspect.

The suspect has not yet been charged but police say he is being investigated for a second burglary at the Pfister earlier this year.

Matt Clement said he is very appreciative of the Milwaukee Police Department's good work.
