MIDDLETON, Wis. -- The future is looking brighter for the National Mustard Museum in Middleton.Dane County Community Development Commission unanimously voted on Thursday night to give the museum more time to pay back a $200,000 loan and deferred interest for one year. The museum requested a one-year deferral after they faced possible closure for not being able to pay back the money on time. The museum has until January 2013 to repay the commission and there’s a requirement to create eight more jobs.Museum officials said they’re looking forward to making those hires."Over the next year, we plan on growing the business. Both the Internet business and the business here in Middleton. The entire museum experience," said National Mustard Museum curator Barry Levenson. "We want school groups to come out here, we want to see more tours, we want more people to come and have a good time. And if people have a good time, we’re going to do just fine."
