Donation Makes Holidays Brighter For Hospitalized Children

Gaming Company Collects Board Games For Sick Children

Updated: 12:25 pm CST December 22, 2011

A Madison-area company has found a way for children who are spending the holidays in the hospital to still be able to play.

Officials with Per Blue, a mobile and software gaming company, decided they wanted to do something special for the holidays so they started a board game collection drive for children at St. Mary's Hospital.

"When kids are here, sometimes for extended periods of time, a big part of keeping them comfortable and normalizing this experience for them is having games and toys for them to play with," said Kat David, of St. Mary's Hospital.

Organizers at Per Blue said they were thrilled by the number of donations for the hospital.
