MADISON, Wis. -

A Madison teenager is facing a charge in connection with a shooting on the city's west side in September, police said.

Madison police said 19-year-old Frank J. Horton was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of party to the crime of first-degree reckless endangerment.

Police have been investigating a shots fired incident on Greenwich Drive at 12:22 a.m. on Sept. 2. Police said a bullet struck the basement window of a home on the street. Though the family was home at the time, no one was injured, police said.

Kurt V. Carter, 21, of Madison, was arrested on Sept. 2 after a brief pursuit. One of the passengers fled on foot, but other occupants in the vehicle stayed, police said. Carter is also facing a charge of party to the crime of first-degree reckless endangerment and bail jumping.

During the course of their investigation, police have learned there was an ongoing dispute between the suspects and some who lived in the targeted home, according to the report Thursday.
