TRAINING CAMP AT U-W PLATTEVILLE
FROM 1984 UNTIL 2001.
IN THAT TIME A LOT OF HISTORY WAS MADE WITH NAMES
LIKE MIKE DITKA AND WALTER PAYTON.
THE NAMES MAY BE HISTORY - BUT THE TEAMS CONNECTION
TO PLATTEVILLE IS NOT.
BRIAN MCCASKEY - SENIOR DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
PRESENTED THE UNIVERSITY WITH A CHECK FOR FIFTY THOUSAND
THE MONEY WILL GO INTO THE PIONEER RELIEF FUND TO
AID IN THE CLEANUP FROM AN EF-2 TORNADO THAT HIT THE
WHEN THAT TORADO DAMAGED THE SCHOOL - THE BEARS REMEMBERED
THEIR FRIENDS IN WISCONSIN.
was a no brainer.
i mean they are our friends, they've always been in
our hearts and of course i have family here in the
area and get back as often as i can.
it took about a day for it to go through committee
and they came back and said here's what we're going
to do and i said i'd be proud to present it in person.

IN ADDITION TO REPAIRING THE CAMPUS THE PIONEER RELIEF
FUND WILL ALSO ASSIST STUDENTS AND FACULITY DISPLACED
BY THE TORNADO.

FIRST TRAINING CAMP IN PLATTEVILLE.
