;27- the thing about these cars there was nothing
altered I kept them prestient because its a part of
history that dont make these no more :35
TUESDAYS TORNADO DISPLACED ALL SIX OF HIS THE CARS
HE HAD IN STORAGE.
SURVEYING THE DAMAGE IS EMOTIONAL
:45- Emily: this just gets you choked up?
John: oh yes, ;47 gets choked uplet it breath a little
to see him tearing up
MATHEWS IS NOW SEEING WHAT----- IF ANYTHING--- CAN
BE SAVED FROM HIS BELOVED CARS
:45- like this car here.
there is nothing on the shell or the body of this
car that is salvagable :54
:08- you gotta understand this car went thru some
hell ish force because the steerling wheel is missing
JANE KNUDSEN OWNS THE HOUSE AND PROPERTY WHERE THE
BARN THAT STORED THE CARS ONCE STOOD.
SHE WATCHED THE STORM FROM INSIDE HER HOUSE AND SAYS
SHE WILL NEVER FORGET THE IMAGE OF THE CARS FLYING
IN THE AIR.
SHE HOPES TO REBUILD THE BARN SHE LOVED
jane: :32- I was actually crying because the barn
was gifted to me the owner of it gave me the barn
and I just cried I cried a lot because I loved that
barn because at heart I am a farmers daughter :49
THIS SETBACK HASN'T STOPPED MATHEWS FROM LOVING CARS
AND THEIR PLACE IN HISTORY
:02- the way I believe in that the car should be the
way it came from the factory :10
MATHEWS SAYS HE LIVES ABOUT 2 MILE AWAY FROM HIS STORAGE
GARAGE AND HE STILL HAS TWO CLASSIC CARS AT HIS HOME
THAT WERE NOT DAMAGED AND HE IS VERY GRATEFUL THAT
NO ONE WAS HURT DURING THE STORMS
