MADSION, Wis. -- Police are looking for the man who allegedly sexually assaulted a Minnesota woman who was in town for the weekend Halloween festivities.
The 21-year-old woman got separated from her friends on the way to the car that was parked somewhere near State Street around 5 a.m. Sunday.
The suspect pulled up and asked her if she needed a ride. Police said the woman reluctantly got in the vehicle and spent some time driving around downtown Madison. The driver took her to the 1800 block of Yahara Place, parked the car and began fondling the woman before she jumped out and ran to a home where she rang the doorbell and summoned police.
The suspect was driving a newer model, dark blue, small two-door car with Wisconsin plates. Police describe the suspect as Caucasion, about 5 foot 7, with brown hair and a thin build.
