Posted: 9:06 am CDT October 15,2003Updated: 10:03 am CDT October 15,2003

A few months ago, News 3's Toni Morrissey introduced you to little Tyler Tracy, who suffered from a rare neurodegenerative disorder.

The only thing sustaining the 18-month-old was Ketocal, a formula the FDA had pulled from store shelves. Many of you came through for him and helped his parents get more of the formula.

News 3 has learned the Tracys made the difficult decision to pull him off life support, after weeks in intensive care, battling pneumonia. He died Oct. 7 at University Hospital.
