Suspect Sought In Madison Open Pantry Robbery
Incident Happened Early Sunday Morning On Regent St.

MADISON, Wis. -- Madison police are looking for a man who robbed a convenience store early Sunday morning.Just before 5 a.m. Sunday, the Open Pantry at 1401 Regent Street was robbed by a man described in his forties, about 200 pounds, and wearing a purple hooded sweatshirt and no shoes.Authorities said he showed a small handgun before grabbing cash from the register and fleeing on foot.No one was injured in the incident.Anyone with knowledge of the crime is asked to contact Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 608-266-6014.
