MILTON, Wis. -- The Rock County Special Investigations Unit, including officers from the city of Milton, served a search warrant at 11201 East County Trunk Highway A, in Avalon on Wednesday at about 12:45 p.m.

Authorities said nobody was home when law enforcement arrived at the residence. During a search of the residence and property, deputies located drug paraphernalia and 13 marijuana plants.

On Thursday at about 3:15 p.m., Gary Kelly, 56, was arrested at the Rock County Sheriff’s Office for manufacturing marijuana, maintaining a drug house and possession of drug paraphernalia. Kelly’s court date for his initial appearance is Oct. 4 at 1 p.m.
