Two drivers were arrested overnight in different incidents on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated for the fifth time.

Dane County sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 14, near County Highway F, in Black Earth at about 8 p.m. on Thursday. The driver, a 57-year-old Arena man, was driving westbound on Highway 14 when he apparently lost control of the vehicle and crashed. The man was also cited for reckless driving, operating after revocation and other charges.

The man sustained only minor injuries and after being taken to Meriter Hospital, was booked into the Dane County Jail.

Meanwhile, a Dane County deputy arrested a 33-year-old Cottage Grove man at about 2:50 a.m. on Friday. The suspect was also charged with operating after revocation and obstructing. The deputy said the suspect attempted to identify himself as the man's brother. The suspect is being held at the Dane County Jail.
