One Hurt After Overnight Shooting In Madison

Victim Taken To UW Hospital

One person was injured during an overnight shooting in Madison.

The incident happened after 1:30 a.m. on Friday at the intersection of Pflaum and Stoughton roads. At least two vehicles were at the intersection when a man got out of one vehicle and began firing at another, according to Madison police. One person was hit amid the gunfire

Shortly after the shooting, police tried to pull over a speeding vehicle on Park Street, but the driver refused to stop. The car was transporting the shooting victim to Meriter Hospital, where he was stabilized and transferred to University of Wisconsin Hospital, according to police.

Police said the suspect’s vehicle is described as a gray, older model Chevrolet Yukon with custom rims and tinted windows.
