The body of a missing Memphis woman was found Wednesday inside a motel's metal bed frame, nearly two months after the mother of five disappeared, Memphis TV station WMC-TV reported.

Five guests have since stayed in the room at the Budget Lodge during that time. They had no idea that 28-year-old Sony Millbrook's body was under the box spring and mattress.

Millbrook had been staying at the motel, but managers locked up the room because she hadn't paid, authorities said.

Police have questioned the father of four of her children and arrested him on an unrelated charge. Memphis police said there was a history of domestic violence, but the man is only considered a person of interest.

"He had recently gotten out of jail and was staying with her at the Budget Lodge," Memphis police Maj. Joe Scott said.

Millbrook's family reported her missing when she didn't show up to pick up her children from school in January.

Her cousin, Jennifer Pickett, said it was unbearable to imagine her cousin lying under a bed for months.

"In a million years, I would never have guessed I'd be sitting here talking about this," Pickett said. "It was a cloud hanging over everybody's life."

"Me and my mother went to the hotel, and I felt a terrible feeling there," she said.
