Administrator: Students Aren't In Danger

Updated: 5:17 pm CST March 2, 2010

Police were present at a Door County high school on Tuesday where someone fired gunshots at the main entrance before students arrived.

Door County sheriff's deputies say they arrested an 18-year-old man suspected of firing the shots that broke two windows at Sevastopol High School in the community of Institute, a few miles northeast of Sturgeon Bay.

School district officials say the shooting happened about 3:30 a.m. and was apparently done by a person who doesn't attend the school.

The administrators said students aren't in any danger.
