MADISON, Wis. -- A Friday night crash investigation led to the arrest of a Madison woman who was allegedly driving under the influence with three children under the age of seven in her vehicle.

36-year-old Latara Freeman of Madison is currently in the Dane County Jail where she is facing a felony charge of OWI causing injury, among other charges.

Police said Freeman was speeding on Prairie Rd. when another vehicle struck her vehicle.

None of Freeman's passengers, including the three children under seven, were wearing their seatbelts.

Six people including the children were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries..

The children have since been released to a relative.

No one in the other vehicle reported any injuries.
