MADISON, Wis. -- Former University of Wisconsin Badgers offensive lineman Jake Wood is heading to Chile to help out in less populated areas that he says aid organizations might overlook.

Wood's six-man team will fly to southern Chile and concentrate their medical efforts on coastal towns.

That work will begin once a 72-hour moratorium on flights into Chile passes.
