A revised criminal complaint says a teenage mother, whose baby was found in a portable toilet in Kenosha County earlier tried ending her pregnancy.

Cori OmistonCori Ormiston (pictured, left), 17, faces charges of abandoning her newborn.

She was scheduled to appear in court Friday to try to get custody of her baby, but Friday morning her lawyer requested permission to indefinitely postpone it.

There are new letters written by the teenager that raise many questions.

Gabriel EstradaThe letters show that this was Ormiston's third pregnancy by Gabriel Estrada (pictured, right). The first two ended in abortion.

In one of the letters, Ormiston wrote to the father, "Mostly, I'm scared to see it. I was taking so many things to get rid of it, and I don't eat right, so what if it doesn't look normal?"

Other letters detail the couple's attempt to end the pregnancy by having Ormiston drink alcohol and take drugs. She even wrote about having Estrada beat her in the stomach in hopes of ending the pregnancy.

"We'll have kids one day. We won't kill them where we're older," another letter said.

WISN 12 news reporter Colleen Henry spoke with Ormiston's mother about the letters.

"Have you seen these letters and this correspondence?" Henry asked.

"Yes, they're statements. We knew that was coming. What else would you do?" Cori Ormiston's mother, Sharyn Ormiston, said.

"Well, they're in your daughter's handwriting though," Henry said.

"No, they're not. They're typed," Sharyn Ormiston said.

"I have copies of the ones in your daughter's handwriting," Henry said.

"I don't know what to say," Sharyn Ormiston said.

Estrada is accused of leaving the infant in an outdoor toilet in a Twin Lakes park. The baby survived when a man and his son heard the child and rescued it. He's charged with attempted murder.
