Authorities: Suspected Drunken Driver Injures 3 In Crash

MADISON, Wis. -- A suspected drunken driver injured three people in a three-car crash on Saturday evening, authorities said.Adam Schultz, 28, was charged with causing injury by intoxicated use of a motor Vehicle. Schultz was driving on Highway 14 in Black Earth when his pickup truck apparently crossed the centerline and crashed into two other vehicles.No one was seriously injured, but two people had to go to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Authorities credit all drivers for wearing their seat belts, which they said prevented more serious injuries.Authorities said that they believe alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash.
