Second Person Dies From SUV-Tractor Crash

Crash Occurred In Dodge County On Dec. 3

The Dodge County Sheriff's Department said Friday that a second person has died from injuries suffered in a crash between a sport utility vehicle and a farm tractor earlier this month.

Authorities said a Ford Explorer traveling southbound on County Highway G in the town of Lowell collided with a farm tractor also southbound on County Highway G just north of County Highway GG at about 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 3.

Authorities said the driver of the Ford Explorer, Joel T. Cahoon, 53, of Reeseville, was pronounced dead at the scene.

An occupant of the tractor, Mark W. Hamann, 53, of Reeseville, was being treated at UW Hospital, but he died from his injuries Friday afternoon.

Authorities said Friday that another occupant of the tractor, Thomas J. Hamann, 31, of Reeseville, remains hospitalized.

Dodge County Crash Investigation Team said it is continuing to investigate the crash.
