MADISON, Wis. -- Although it's only Nov. 18, Christmas is in the air. If fact, it's been in the air for quite a while -- on the air, adorning homes and in stores. But is it just too early to get into the holiday spirit? For a good two weeks now, it's been all Christmas at Madison's WOLX-FM."Nov. 5th -- that's when we determined it was time for Christmas," said David Moore, WOLX operations manager. Some love it, like that neighbor with their lights up already -- and turned on. But others are just not quite ready yet for the holidays."That's a little crazy," Target shopper Monica Evans said. But with the holidays just about everywhere these days, the most wonderful time of the year is hard to avoid. Is it too early to start getting in the Christmas spirit?"It's a little early -- a little early," shopper Candy McDonald said. But others, like Evans, said they love all the holiday stuff this early."I think it helps to get people into the spirit," she said. "Christmas is a fun time."Moore admitted that some of his listeners have been a bit frustrated since they switched their format. But he said the radio station does very well this time of year. Moore said no matter how early they start the Christmas tunes, research shows people love it."We attract a lot of listeners during the holidays," Moore said. "And that's one of the reasons why we do it."WISC-TV found there was no definite answer to this "Good Question." It all depends on who you ask.
