Mount Horeb Woman Unleashes Her Ice Cream Diva

Creates Ben And Jerry's Newest Flavor

Updated: 11:48 am CST November 9, 2009

A Mount Horeb woman is the creator of Ben and Jerry's newest flavor of ice cream.

Tony Gunnison came up with Almond Delight, a caramel ice cream with praline almonds and a caramel swirl.

Gunnison beat out finalists from all over the globe who gathered in the Dominican Republic to spend the week with founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield. They toured a fair trade cocoa co-op and helped build a nearby playground.

It was all part of Ben and Jerry's "Do the World A Flavor" campaign.

Gunnison's flavor will be available all next year in Ben and Jerry Ice Cream Shops.
