The Juneau County Sheriff's Office has released the name of a driver who was killed Thursday in a crash with a semitrailer.

Authorities said Steven C. Holcombe, 49, of Readstown, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash Thursday night after the vehicle he was driving collided with the trailer.

Authorities said an eastbound semitrailer was turning into a driveway off of Highway 33 when it was struck by a westbound vehicle between Hillsboro and Union Center.

A 53-year-old Hillsboro man was driving the semitrailer, authorities said.

The Juneau County Sheriff's Office said the incident remains under investigation.
