High-Speed Chase Ends In Crash

Driver Suffers Injuries

An overnight police chase on Highway 14 early Friday morning ended when the vehicle being pursued crashed, according to the Dane County Sheriff's Department.

The incident began just after 2 a.m. on Friday on a portion of the highway near Black Earth.

Dane County officials said the pursuit lasted just two minutes before the driver's vehicle rolled. The driver was injured and taken to an area hospital by ambulance.

The extent of injuries isn't yet known, authorities said. Officials haven't released the driver's name.
