Marquette County authorities said Thursday that they have arrested a man in connection with a residential burglary.

The Marquette County Sheriff's Office said that Francis J. Degenhardt, 50, of Packwaukee, was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of residential burglary.

Degenhardt is the son of Ruth Deiter, who died last week.

Investigators called Deiter's death suspicious and said that Degenhardt is a person of interest in the Deiter death investigation.

Degenhardt is being held in the Marquette County Jail on a $15,000 cash bond.
