Authorities said Wednesday two autopsies found signs of trauma on a decomposing body found in July in a Marinette County stream.

There's still no official cause of death.

The Marinette County Sheriff's Office, in eastern Wisconsin, released additional details Wednesday in the case of 28-year-old Eric Volp, of Iron Mountain, Mich..

Volp's body was found by a trout fisherman in July in a stream near Dunbar.

Autopsies were done in Green Bay and at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. They found trauma, including head trauma, but authorities are still waiting for final reports before issuing a cause of death.

Investigators said Volp was last seen in October after leaving a bar in Iron Mountain, Mich.

Investigators in both Michigan and Wisconsin remain on the case.
