Posted: 7:58 pm CDT August 4, 2009

A stolen laptop might have compromised the personal information of some Wisconsin soldiers.

Army National Guard leaders, both in Wisconsin and nationally, said they're working to notify those affected.

The theft on July 27 could affect more than 130,000 former and current Guard members.

The laptop had Social Security numbers and names of those in the Army National Guard Bonus and Incentives Program.

The Army National Guard is setting up a call center on the data compromise. The center will open Wednesday at 7 a.m. Those with questions can call 877-481-4957.
