4 Scorned Women Charged With Tying Up Lover

Prosecutors Said They Plan To Charge Wife

Updated: 9:54 am CDT August 4, 2009

Four Wisconsin women are accused of tying up and assaulting a married man after allegedly finding out he was romantically involved with three of them.

The women are each charged with being party to false imprisonment -- a felony with a maximum prison term of six years. One is charged with fourth-degree sexual assault.

Calumet County prosecutors said Therese A. Ziemann, 48, of Menasha, lured the man to a Stockbridge motel last Thursday. Prosecutors said she was soon joined by Michelle Belliveau, 43, of Neenah; Wendy L. Sewell, 43, of Kaukauna; and the man's wife.

Authorities said Ziemann punched the man in the face and glued his penis to his stomach. All four women allegedly fled with his cell phone, wallet and vehicle.

The Associated Press isn't naming the victim's wife to protect the man's identity as a victim of sexual assault.

The women are free on $200 cash bails. Investigators said that Belliveau wasn't romantically involved with the man.
