5 Arrested In Connection With Large Fight In Madison

One Man In Critical Condition With Head Injury

Madison police said that five men have been arrested in connection with a large fight at a gas station on the city's West Side early Friday morning.

Officers were dispatched at 2:24 a.m. Friday to a large fight at the Speedway gas station in the 4900 block of Verona Road.

One man was found there with a head injury, and he is hospitalized in critical condition.

Police said two other victims suffered non-life-threatening stab wounds.

Police said charges for the five men range from probation violations to drug and operating while intoxicated charges.

Investigators said the incident was not a random act. Madison police said more charges are likely as the investigation continues.
