MILWAUKEE, Wis. -

Milwaukee County sheriff's officials said they are investigating a fatal four-vehicle highway crash caused by a wrong-way driver.

Authorities said two people died and another was seriously injured in the crash on Highway 41 about 1:30 a.m. Monday.

The sheriff's department said a man was driving south in the northbound lanes, causing a chain-reaction crash.

The lanes were closed for about four hours but have since reopened.
