JUNEAU, Wis. -- A case of wandering cows has landed a Dodge County woman in trouble for abusing a 911 operator.

Tammy Nuttelman, of Juneau, called the Dodge County Sheriff's Department twice on Thursday to ask deputies for help in rounding up her herd.

According to the call provided by the sheriff's department, the 45-year-old Nuttelman said, "I have seven (expletive) cows out loose, maybe going to the (expletive) highway, and you need to let everybody know there are loose cows out there before they cause a mega (expletive) accident."

The dispatcher told her the cows weren't considered an emergency, but Nuttleman wasn't happy with that response and contacted the town chairman.

The cows were where they belonged when deputies arrived at Nuttlemen's farm to issue her with a citation for improper use of a telephone and abuse of the 911 service.
