Dodge County sheriff's deputies and SWAT team members are involved in a standoff at Fox Lake Thursday.

The community is about an hour north-east of Madison.

Deputies said they've been surrounding a home on West State Street since about 6 p.m. Thursday.

Authorities said an officer went to serve a warrant for contempt of court when a man showed a gun, then locked himself in the home.

Authorities said they've been in contact with the suspect and don't believe any neighbors are in danger.
