The Assembly Public Safety Committee plans to take comments at the State Fair Park in West Allis on Tuesday. Democrats introduced the bill Wednesday.The measure would require ignition locks on vehicles used by repeat drunken drivers and first-time offenders with high blood-alcohol levels.It also would make fourth-offense operating while intoxicated within five years of a previous conviction a felony. Right now, a fifth offense and beyond is a felony.Drunken drivers also would have their license revocations start after their prison or jail terms end.
