State Lawmaker's Drunken Driving Case Continues
Legislator Arrested Last December

PORTAGE, Wis. -- A state lawmaker's drunken driving case is expected to continue this week in Columbia County.Authorities said that state Rep. Jeffrey Wood was driving 200 miles back home after drinking in Madison. Witnesses reported that Wood smashed into a highway sign.A state trooper said he found Wood urinating on the shoulder of the interstate.Investigators also said they found two bags of marijuana in Wood's car.The legislator, who's an independent from Bloomer, faces four misdemeanor counts.
