Lake Mills Woman Sentenced In Fatal Crash
Yelk Sentenced To 18 Years In Prison

JEFFERSON, Wis. -- A Lake Mills woman was sentenced Tuesday in a drunken-driving crash that killed a woman.Jennifer Yelk was sentenced to 18 years in prison for the May 2008 crash that killed Trisha Kerr.The 30-year-old Jefferson woman died eight days after the crash.Kerr's family is now pushing the state to toughen its drunken-driving laws.Police said Yelk had a blood-alcohol content of 0.28 and that the incident was her fourth OWI.
