Police said a tip led to the arrest of three suspects on Friday. They said more than 60 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of more than $175,000 and $23,000 in cash were confiscated, WISC-TV reported.

Investigators said they believe the three suspects traveled by bus and forth from Texas to Sun Prairie, possibly three times a month, for the past several months.

"This is a significant amount of marijuana for Dane County and certainly it's off the charts for Sun Prairie," said Patrick Anhalt, Sun Prairie police chief.

Authorities said a K-9 team found the marijuana after searching the suspects' suitcases when they got off the bus in sun prairie.

Police said other evidence was taken from a home on North Thompson Drive in Madison.
