Announcer Died After Being Struck By Truck

MADISON, Wis. -- A federal investigation into the death of a monster truck show promoter in Madison last month has been completed and the death was ruled an accident.An official at the Occupational Safety & Health Administration's office in Madison said the agency did not find any safety or health hazards present at the time of the incident.Authorities said that George Eisenhart Jr., 41, of Chardon, Ohio, died on Jan. 24 when he stepped into the path of one of the huge trucks during the Motor Sports Monster Truck & Thrill Show at the Alliant Energy Center.OSHA officials said no violations were found, no citations were issued and the case is officially closed.
