Updated: 10:41 am CST January 13, 2009

Over the weekend, yoga's upward and downward dog positions found a more literal meaning in Madison.

The Ruffin' It Resort hosted introductory "doga" classes for man's best friend.

The 45-minute classes cost $12 and include relaxation, massage along with various stretching and yoga poses.

The next doga class is scheduled for Jan. 18 at 3 p.m. at the Ruffin' It Resort on Struck Street in Madison.
