Police Arrest Man In Connection With Town Of Madison Sexual Assault

Police Say Incident Occurred Friday Morning

Police have arrested a man in connection with a sexual assault in the Town of Madison Friday morning.

Police were called to the 300 block of Alhambra Place near Seminole Highway and the Beltline just before 4 a.m. Friday. Officer said they found the victim tied up after a sexual assault.

Police said the woman tried to defend herself against her attacker with a meat tenderizer.

Police said Thomas White, 44, is being held on seven counts, including second-degree sexual assault and substantial battery.

The victim suffered a broken arm and other minor injuries.

Police said White was staying at the victim's apartment.
