Updated: 11:19 am CST November 17, 2008

Homicide charges are expected this week after the body of Hatfield woman was discovered late Saturday.

Alisha Sidie had been missing since Nov. 7.

Jackson County authorities said her body was found on Saturday in the Town of Komensky.

Authorities have arrested Sidie's former husband after he showed investigators the general area where her body could be found.

"He was in custody at the time and he assisted investigators to go to the location and area he believed," said Jackson County Sheriff Duane Waldera. "As to the location of Ms. Sidie, we used our canine dog Clyde."

Sidie's body was transported to Madison for an autopsy.

Authorities said that Doug Sidie will be charged with first-degree intentional homicide later this week.

Investigators told station WEAU-TV in Eau Claire that the couple's 2-year-old twin boys were in state custody.
