We've had Iowa flood dogs, we've had horse neglect cases and now these 19 dogs from Texas," said Gayle Viney, spokesperson for the DCHS. "We're happy to help out but we definitely need the community support right now too."The shelter is asking families to adopt a dog or puppy, or, if you can't, consider making a donation. The animals are getting vaccinated and spayed or neutered. They should be available for adoption starting next week. There are six puppies and 13 dogs. Officials said they're all in pretty good spirits -- considering the trauma they've been through and the 25-hour ride north in Hobson's horse trailer, WISC-TV reported.
