The Dane County coroner has released the names of the three people who were killed in a two-car crash near Mount Horeb late Wednesday afternoon.

Sheriff's officials said one car was westbound on U.S. 18/151 when it veered into the median, overturned and landed on an eastbound car.

The driver and two passengers in the first car were killed.

The Dane County coroner identified the victims as Janet Indermuehle, 48; her son, Daniel Hall, 15; and a passenger, Tiffany Marie Kastner, 14. Authorities said all three are from Potosi.

Authorities said that none of the three was wearing a seat belt and that two were ejected from the overturned vehicle. All three were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the second car was seriously injured. No one else was in the second vehicle. That driver was taken by medical helicopter to University Hospital.

Authorities said alcohol was not a contributing factor in the crash.
