Madison City Channel To Keep Its Spot On The Dial
Charter Reverses Previous Decision To Move Channel

MADISON, Wis. -- Madison City Channel 12 will keep its spot on the dial after cable company Charter Communications said it was changing its mind.Charter has announced that it planned to move the city's local cable access channel from channel 12.Officials said that the city channel will now remain there for the indefinite future.The change to the digital tier was made after a television competition bill became law, WISC-TV reported.The channel has been on the 12 spot since 1974.
