Solar Car Wash Held At MATC
Proceeds Will Benefit Flood Victims

MADISON, Wis. -- A solar car wash was held on the Madison Area Technical College campus on Wednesday with proceeds benefitting area flood victims.MATC's portable solar panels uses the sun to warm the water -- mixing it with cold water for safe controlled temperature for washing.The car wash was held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and generated funds that will go to the Badger Chapter of the American Red Cross and the MATC Foundation.
