Iowa County authorities are investigating a rollover crash that killed one person and injured two others Saturday.

Authorities said a passenger, Joshua Mester, 24, died of head injuries after the vehicle crashed just north of the village of Blanchardville on Highway F around 5 p.m. Saturday.

Another passenger was transported by Med Flight to the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison with severe injuries.

The vehicle's driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities said alcohol appears to be a factor and that both passengers were not wearing seat belts.

The Wisconsin State Patrol is assisting with the investigation.
