Harley-Davidson Museum Roars To Life Saturday

CEO Gets First Tattoo During Celebration

Harley-Davidson riders and fans will soon be able to learn all about the history of their favorite motorcycles.

The Harley-Davidson Museum will open to the public on Saturday, July 12.

A Grand Opening ceremony will kick the festivities off at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Patrons will be able to partake in several events celebrating the opening of the museum such as a bike-build, a tattoo artist, food and live music from local Milwaukee bands.

Wisconsin Gov. James Doyle Jr. will join company officials and other government leaders to inaugurate the museum.

Harley-Davidson CEO Jim Ziemer will get his first tattoo at the celebration on Saturday afternoon.

The museum is located at 400 Canal St. in Milwaukee.

Organizers said they strongly suggest that people buy their tickets in advance.
