Blaze Drives Residents From Town Of Madison Apartment Complex

No One Was Injured

Apartment complex residents were evacuated on Sunday night after a blaze erupted in the Town of Madison building.

The fire broke out in the 100 block of Brown Quail Court at about 8:15 p.m. in the building's basement area.

No one was injured.

The fire and heavy smoke forced firefighters to use a ladder to rescue one woman from a second-floor balcony.

The fire's cause is under investigation.
