Family, Friends Mark Anniversary Of Nolan's Disappearance
Waunakee Woman Found Dead Last Summer

MADISON, Wis. -- While the police investigation continues, Monday marks the one-year anniversary when University of Wisconsin-Whitewater student Kelly Nolan disappeared from downtown Madison. The 22-year-old was later found dead.The search for the missing Waunakee native began last summer. Nolan was reported missing on June 23, 2007, after a night of partying in downtown Madison. Her body was found on July 9, 2007, in a wooded area near Schneider Drive in the Town of Dunn.While police continue to investigate, Nolan's family and friends held a gathering earlier this month at Centennial Park in Waunakee.Since the body's discovery, no suspects have been named and no charges have been filed in her death.Stay tuned to WISC-TV and Channel 3000 for continuing coverage.
