OAK CREEK, Wis. -- Five people were taken into custody after Oak Creek police executed search warrants for apparent marijuana growing operations. One search warrant was executed in the city of Oak Creek and two others were executed in Franklin and Sturtevant.Police said that they've confiscated at least 2,000 marijuana plants from four houses that were set up as greenhouses. At a news conference in Oak Creek on Wednesday, officials said the marijuana confiscated has a street value of between $3 million and $5 million.Three guns, five vehicles, a boat, cash and jewelry have also been taken during a search of the properties.Police officials said that electrical service had been bypassed in the houses, so suspicion would not be raised because of excessive use of electricity to grow the marijuana. The houses are said to be uninhabitable because walls are covered with mold..
