A woman is accused of trying to sneak boxes of marijuana through Sacramento International Airport and on to a jet bound for Georgia, authorities said Tuesday.

Sgt. Tim Curran said the federal Transportation Security Administration found 15 pounds of pot Monday night.

TSA agents boarded a U.S. Airways plane set to depart for Atlanta and arrested 29-year-old Rachael Ann Wilson of Sacramento on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale and unlawful transportation of the drug, local station KCRA reported.

Authorities said the pot had an estimated street value of $125,000.

Before boarding her flight, Wilson checked two large cardboard boxes at the U.S. Airways ticket counter, Curran said.

One of the boxes was too big to fit through an X-ray machine, so TSA agents opened it up and found the drug stashed in coffee cans.

Wilson was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.

She is scheduled to be arraigned on May 27 in Sacramento Municipal Court.
