Before Lou and Debbie Marino met with Police Chief Noble Wray on Tuesday, they said the meeting was their chance to voice their concerns about the investigation into their son's death.

The Marinos said that police aren't doing enough and have discounted information that the family has provided. The Marinos said they just want answers and were looking forward to expressing their frustrations with the police chief.

But Wray said he hopes to clarify with the Marinos the work the police department has done with the case. Police said they have followed hundreds of leads in the investigation.

"What we have here is family that I think our entire community's heart goes out to, and as chief of police, and of the department, it was my responsibility to meet with the family. And it really did go well, from all of our perspectives," Wray said.

The meeting on Tuesday afternoon lasted about two hours. Afterwards, Wray met with reporters and talked about how the meeting went, WISC-TV reported.

"I'm not going to get into what we talked about. It was a very positive meeting -- we had a number of different things that we talked about," Wray said. "I think it was more of an opportunity for us to understand each other from each other's perspective. It was very positive, and we'd like to move forward from there."
